A note from my father...

Dear friends and family,

The doctor called us today and told us that Lucy has down syndrome. We go see the doctor again on Wednesday where we will begin to map out a course of action, which will more than likely include a few trips to Children’s Hospital in Columbus. God has been more than faithful to us already and we’ve seen Him do numerous miracles, the biggest being Lucy Kay. Thank you all for your prayers; they have held us up!

Blessings,
Kevin, Mandy, and Lucy

I just know that this precious girl is going to to be one of the brightest lights in your lives. She is going to show you a picture of Jesus you have never before seen, and she is going to bring joy beyond measure. I will be lifting you three in prayer. Be encouraged.

Dear Lucy-

Your parents are two of the most authentic people I know. You will be very proud to call your self a Petersen. We are praying for you and your parents as they experience parenthood and you experience childhood. God has a very special plan for you and your family! You are a beautiful blessing from God and we take refuge in your birth to such wonderful God-fearing parents. We love you all!
